Wellington Farm Detachment

Yeah, look, I mean, I I lived in Wellington as a new graduate coming out of university in the mid-90s, and yeah, it's a it was a great city. I mean, they had the supercars, they had all sorts of things there. But you know, look, I I yeah, I think the new mayor and is getting his head around it all and and trying to get it ripped up. Um, but it's a great city. I mean, it's got lots of smart young people there. Um, it should be a great city, but you know, they've really got to do some work on you know their three waters infrastructure. Yes, there's way too many bike lanes that are sort of made it unattractive to go into the city at times, but but no, well it's got a great future. It's just and you know, when you think about it, you know, you've had Wesley, you've had uh zero, you've had Shears Ease, you've had trade me, all this incredible start-up community and and people doing amazing things there. So, yes, there'll be some reductions progressively uh in the public servants uh in Wellington, but equally, you know, we've got an economy that will generate 240,000 new jobs in the next four years, and there's good economic growth and there's great opportunities and and welling is a great city and it it needs to uh you know it's rediscover it needs to rediscover its moto and it will do that.
