Angela Dalton

Angela Dalton is a New Zealand local government politician, currently serving as Councillor for the Manurewa-Papakura Ward on Auckland Council ^[15][16].

Dalton has pursued a law degree on a part-time basis, according to a single secondary source ^[9]. Prior to her council role, she was involved in local government as an elected member ^[4] and served on the Manurewa Community Board from 2007 ^[7]. She also held the positions of local board chair and deputy during this period ^[8], including as Chair of the Manurewa Local Board ^[11] and Deputy Chair of the Manurewa Board from 2010 ^[19].

Dalton was elected as a Councillor for Auckland Council's Manurewa-Papakura Ward in 2019 ^[16][17]. She is affiliated with the Green Party ^[27]. Since 4 September 2024, she has served as Chair of the Community Committee at Auckland Council ^[12] and as Deputy Chair of the Southern Rural Strategy Working Group from the same date ^[22].
